Right to Request Teacher Qualifications 

Barnwell Elementary School receives funds for Title I programs that are part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Throughout the school year, we will continue to provide you with important information about this law and your child's education. As a parent or guardian, you have the right to request that the school provide you with information about the qualifications of your child’s teacher or teachers if he/she has more than one teacher. If you would like to have this information, the district or the school will provide it for you. You can be informed of certificate areas as well as college degrees earned. You have the right to know what grades and/or courses teachers are certified to teach. We can also provide you information about instructional aides that are being used with your child.
