The Finance Department is responsible for efficient management and further development of financial resources. To meet this goal, account for all financial/treasury transactions and support district operations, the Finance Department is organized with three operating departments:
Accounts Payable, Attendance Reporting, Capital Projects, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, General Ledger Accounting, Investments, Long Term Financing, On-Line Payment Program, Student Activity Funds, Vendor Services
Budgets for the General Fund, Special Revenue Fund, EIA Fund, and other local funding sources
Payroll and Insurance Services
Payroll and Risk Management/Loss Prevention
PER PROVISO 1.113 (SDE: SURPLUS PROPERTY), “SCHOOL DISTRICTS MUST PUBLISH ON THEIR WEBSITES BY SEPTEMBER 15, 2022, A LIST OF PROPERTIES THAT QUALIFY UNDER THIS PROVISION.”At this time, Barnwell School District 45 does not have any properties that qualify under this provision.
